Adopt-A-Project
Dear Church Family,
Your Mt. Tam UMC Trustees are excited to announce our new ADOPT-A-PROJECT campus rejuvenation campaign! As you are heading to the sanctuary for worship, you will notice a new display in our welcome center that features various pictures from around the church campus. These pictures showcase some of the wear and tear that our buildings and grounds have endured due to years of caring and joy-filled ministry.
Along with each picture/project, there will be a listed cost for repair or replacement. To adopt a project, click the link below, and then send an email to our church office at [email protected].
We invite you to prayerfully consider adopting one (or more) of these projects in order to make Mt. Tam Church shine as we invite more folks into our community and into a deeper relationship with God. If you have any questions about this initiative or other ways you can help during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out to Pastor Luke.
Many Thanks,
The Mt. Tam UMC Board of Trustees

Permanent Endowment Fund
Mt. Tam Church has been blessed by the foresight of people in the past who created the Permanent Endowment Fund. The first contribution to the Endowment Fund was given by Blanche Jackson, who requested that the yearly earning of her donation be used to support our Christian education program. Other giving saints include Delphia Coan and Georgette Gilbert.
The Endowment Fund has now grown so that a portion of the earnings support our Christian education program, missions, and some capital improvements. In 1997, the church created the Permanent Endowment Fund Committee (PEFC). The seven church members, many with decades of investment and financial experience, manage the funds with care, so that our great-grandchildren will enjoy the fruits of these amazing gifts.
Giving for the future, whether out of current income or in a final way, allows the ministry of God in Jesus Christ through Mt. Tam Church to continue far beyond the times in which we live. Donations and planned gifts for the Permanent Endowment Fund are welcome! Contact chairperson Chris Hubbard through the church office for more information: 415-388-4456.
For those who wish to explore and learn more about estate planning and structured gifts, the California-Nevada Conference provides great resources. Let us know if we can be of help to you! Browse the California-Nevada United Methodist Foundation website for more information.
