Planning an Event?
Mt. Tam Church is host to several groups that use our facilities on a regular basis or for one time events. Our facilities manager, Ivania Miranda, makes renting easy, from walking you through the best space for your needs, to providing all rental info to make the day of your event go smoothly. Rentals are available for individuals (weddings, memorial services, etc) or non-profits only. See below for some of our rental options.
Sanctuary
Occupancy: 375
The sanctuary is most commonly used for large events such as concerts, recitals and workshops. There is an additional entry room that is included with the rental that is good for welcoming guests and providing refreshments. No food or drink is allowed in the sanctuary.
Fellowship Hall
Occupancy: 315
Our Fellowship Hall is a large space that fits many needs, from workshops, support group meetings, lunches, performances and other gatherings. Rectangular folding tables and folding chairs are available. Use of the 2 refrigerators to store your goodies and a microwave are included in the rental.
For full use of our completely functional kitchen including a commercial dishwasher, 2 electric ovens, and a large gas stove with ovens, please contact our facilities manager to check for availability and pricing. Renters must provide their own paper goods if needed.
Meeting Room
Occupancy: 90
Our meeting room (Room 1) is a smaller space that is suitable for workshops, support groups, or other smaller gatherings. About 50 folding chairs are available for use.
Considerations
Unfortunately Mt. Tam Church is not able to supply renters with microphones, projectors or other AV equipment. All renters are required to return the space to the condition is was found in: cleaning, vacuuming and emptying the recycling, compost and garbage to the bins outside.
