Dear Mt. Tam Church,
This Sunday, December 15, we’ll gather for one of the most beloved traditions of our church year: the annual performance of the Christmas story by our young people! The service will be filled with joy, song, and fun as we celebrate the beauty and wonder of the nativity through the eyes of our children and youth.
In addition to the Christmas story, I’ll be offering a brief sermonette on how we can amplify the joy of this season for one another and for our community. Advent reminds us that joy is not just a feeling but a gift to be shared, and I can’t wait to explore this with you. Worship begins at 10:30 a.m., and this is a Sunday you won’t want to miss!
I also want to take a moment to thank everyone who has submitted their 2025 Plan for Giving. Last week, we joyfully dedicated these commitments to God, and I am so grateful for your generosity and faithfulness. If you haven’t yet submitted your plan, it’s not too late! You can email your plan to the church office. Knowing your plans for giving helps us thoughtfully and faithfully budget for our ministry in 2025.
Let’s come together this Sunday to celebrate the joy of the season and the gift of community. I look forward to seeing you there!
In Christ’s Joy,
Pastor Luke
