Dear Friends,
It has been such a joy to see some new faces in worship over the past few weeks. It has also been a blessing to welcome back some familiar faces who have returned to Marin after some time away in other parts of the state and country.
With the influx of new and familiar faces, it is important for us to get back into the practice of wearing our name tags. Therefore, I invite you to join me in reinstituting this simple yet powerful act of hospitality beginning this Sunday. If you don’t have a permanent name tag, please e-mail or call the church office so we can get one made for you! There will also be make-your-own temporary nametags and markers available as you enter the sanctuary. We kindly ask that you use these temporary name tags until your permanent one is ready and available.
This week in worship, we will be continuing our sermon series entitled “Prophetic Learning” by looking at the shortest book of the Bible. While the book of Obadiah is only 21 verses long, I believe there will is a great deal for us to discover in this often-overlooked text. I am looking forward to sharing more with you on Sunday!
See you (and your name tag) soon,
Pastor Luke
