Dear Friends,
For the last few weeks, we have been traveling through the season of Advent together as we prepare our hearts, minds and spirits to remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus. One of the ways we have been preparing ourselves is by taking a closer look at some of the key figures in the birth narrative including the shepherds, King Herod and Mary. This week we will conclude this series entitled “The Characters of Christmas” by looking at Joseph. Specifically, we will be thinking about the courage, grace and trust that Joseph, the adoptive father of Jesus, must have had when he found out that his bride-to-be was going to be carrying the Son of God in her womb.
As we head closer and closer to Christmas, I invite you to scroll down and look at the other services and activities we have planned to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Please take special note that we will have a Live Drive-Thru Nativity that takes place this Sunday evening (December 19th) and then two Christmas Eve services that are both in-person and live-streamed online.
In Peace, Hope, Joy and Love,
Luke
