Dear Mt. Tam Church Family,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is Good Friday, a day of profound reflection on the sacrifice and love demonstrated by Jesus Christ. On this sacred day, I want to remind you that our sanctuary doors will be open from 10am to 5pm, offering a peaceful place for reflection on the depth of Christ’s passion and the profound love he has for each of us. As you enter the sanctuary, you will find meditation guides available on the table, designed to aid your contemplation and prayer during this sacred time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the shadow of the cross, we also look forward with hope to the joy of Easter Sunday, a day that marks the resurrection of Jesus and his victory over death, bringing new life and hope to all. I enthusiastically invite you, your family, and friends to our Easter worship service at 10:30am. It will be a time full of joyful worship, music, and celebration. We are particularly excited for our children to be in worship with us (rather than going to Sunday School) as our Director of Family Ministries, Tricia Wiig, will be offering a special telling of the story of Jesus tailored especially for our Pre-K and elementary-aged children. It promises to be a meaningful and engaging experience, helping them to understand the significance of this day. To assist parents of extra-young ones, the nursery will be open for infants and toddlers but please know that they are welcome to be in the sanctuary for the entire worship service as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following our worship service, we will continue our celebration with a time of fellowship and refreshments. It will be a wonderful opportunity for our church family to connect, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company in the spirit of Easter. The fellowship will<\/p>\n\n\n\n
be followed by an eagerly anticipated egg hunt for our young people, a delightful tradition that brings joy and excitement to our celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This Easter weekend is a journey from reflection to resurrection, from solemnity to celebration. We invite you to be a part of every moment, to share in the community and faith that bind us together as a family in Christ. Your presence would add greatly to our gathering as we commemorate these significant days in the Christian calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
