Some people know us as the church with the sign. Others think of us as the church with the parking lot. Yes, Mt. Tam Church has both of those things, and we are so much more!

Our Belief

We believe that faith is a journey. In fact, we celebrate that life with God in Jesus Christ is an adventure! Jesus offers us a path for life in God that is rich and enlivening.

Our purpose is rooted in scripture, tradition, our individual lives and our engagement in the world. We love sharing that path with others!

Join our youth group for a week of service, faith, and community with Sierra Service Project in Crescent City, CA, June 28 to July 3, 2026. This trip offers hands on service, spiritual growth, and lasting friendships.Cost is $750, covering camp fees and Mt. Tam expenses.

Fall Kickoff & Fellowship Hall Celebration

Sunday, September 13th Come celebrate the beginning of a new season with us! Join us for worship at 10:30 AM as we gather together, reconnect with friends, welcome new faces, and celebrate the joy of our church community. Our Godly Play Sunday School program returns for children ages 4 years through 5th grade with a special story of Creation. Nursery care will also be available for children under 4 years old.After worship, continue the celebration in Fellowship Hall with pizza, treats, and fellowship as we celebrate the wonderful updates and improvements made to our space over the past year. Bring your family, invite a friend, and come be part of the fun as we kick off a new season together. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Keep an eye out for an evite coming in August!

Mt. Tam Church’s Vacation Bible School

“On the Road with Jesus”

Pack your bags for a joyful journey of faith and friendship! 🌟

Vacation Bible School will take place August 10–14, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at Mt. Tam Church. This special week is designed for children ages 5–12 and offers a loving, nurturing, and welcoming environment where every child belongs.

Throughout the week, campers will travel “on the road” with Jesus through engaging Bible stories and meaningful spiritual practices such as prayer and meditation. Each day will be filled with hands-on arts and crafts, cooperative outdoor games, music, movement, laughter, and opportunities to build lasting friendships.

All children in the community are warmly invited to come learn, grow, and play with us!

Cost: $250 for the week
