Our mission as a church is to connect people with God’s amazing love and grace and create a community of service and justice with the world.

Welcome to Mount Tamalpais UMC!

Some people know us as the church with the sign. Others think of us as the church with the parking lot. Yes, Mt. Tam Church has both of those things, and we are so much more!

Our Belief

We believe that faith is a journey. In fact, we celebrate that life with God in Jesus Christ is an adventure! Jesus offers us a path for life in God that is rich and enlivening.

Our purpose is rooted in scripture, tradition, our individual lives and our engagement in the world. We love sharing that path with others!
