It’s not easy to take care of yourself spiritually! We all live busy lives and between work, family, and all those wonderful needs of our lives, how do we find time to take care of our spirits? Mt. Tam Church understands these pressures on our lives, and yet, we know that taking special time for ourselves helps us be more grounded, better spouses/partners and parents and true to God’s invitation to care for ourselves. Here are a few of the small groups and educational opportunities we offer for adults.
Engaging Faith
10:30am every Tuesday, a book and Bible study addressing contemporary issues and faith life.
Adelphes
A gathering of women who seek opportunities for fellowship above and beyond Sunday mornings. Meetings are monthly and include a potluck followed by a short program chosen to foster the bonds of community. All women of the church are welcome. Please contact the church office at 415-388-4456 for more information.
Small Group for Moms
A few times throughout the year a small group for moms is led by Tricia Wiig, Children, Youth and Families Minister. The group focuses on a book study or small group curriculum. This is a time when moms come together to share their wisdom, insight and nurture one another in their lives and faith walk. A great opportunity to form new friendships! Childcare provided. Contact Tricia Wiig for more information ([email protected]).
