Dear Mt. Tam Church,
I am filled with joy and anticipation as I write to you about our upcoming worship
service at MTUMC. This Sunday, our gathering will be a truly special celebration
of faith, community, and the many blessings God has bestowed upon us.
First, we will have the honor of presenting our 3rd graders with their own Bibles. This is a significant milestone in their spiritual journey, and we look forward to witnessing their excitement and enthusiasm as they receive the Holy Scriptures, which will guide and inspire them throughout their lives.
In addition, we will take time to express our heartfelt appreciation for our dedicated Sunday school teachers and leaders. Their commitment and love for nurturing the faith of our children and youth is invaluable, and we want to acknowledge their hard work and devotion in a meaningful way.
We will also come together to celebrate the sacrament of communion. This sacred act reminds us of God’s love and grace, uniting us as one body in Christ. Let us prepare our hearts to receive the bread and the cup, embracing the fullness of what it represents.
Last but not least, we will rejoice in lifting up our personal and family milestones, such as birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations. These moments of joy and achievement are gifts from God, and we will raise them up in thanksgiving.
Our sermon for this week will focus on the inspiring story of Tabitha, a woman known for her charitable works and care for others in the name of Jesus. We will reflect on how her legacy of compassion and service continues to echo through generations. Together, we will explore how our own acts of kindness and love can leave a lasting impact on the world around us.
May we come together with grateful hearts, ready to honor God and support one another in our faith journey.
Take Care,
Pastor Luke
