Dear Friends,
During the season of Advent, we have been journeying alongside one
another in our worship series entitled A Song of Ascent. Throughout this
series, we have talked about the importance of community and the
HOPE we find in not being alone. We have also proclaimed that PEACE
is one of our core principles and priorities as we are to journey together.
Last week, we took time to appreciate all of the JOY and music that fills
this season and how our joys are a type of playlist for our journey
together.
But what about the times when the journey isn’t going as planned? What
happens when there are disagreements or trust is broken? What do we do
when we hit bumps in the road or the trail splits into two?
This Sunday, we will be addressing those questions as we conclude our
series by thinking about the ways God calls and supports us when the
journey becomes difficult. No matter where you are on the trail to
Christmas, I hope you will consider gathering with us in the sanctuary as
we celebrate the ways that God is at work in our lives, our church and
our world.
In Hope, Peace, Joy and Love,
Luke
