This Sunday, we will be continuing our 4-part series on the Book of Jonah. Last week’s scripture passage introduced us to the prophet and recorded how he ended up in the belly of the great fish. This week, we will be looking at Jonah’s prayer of remorse and will see how God responds to Jonah in his greatest hour of need.
I hope you can join us in-person or online as we reflect on how God isn’t just with us in the good times of our lives but also stays by our side in the difficult times as well. We will also be reflecting on the importance of the church community in the moments where we feel like we are metaphorically in the belly of the fish.
I am happy to report that another shipment of KN-95 masks has arrived this week so we will have them available to folks who need one for worship. That being said, we still have a limited supply so if you have your own KN-95 or N-95 mask, please bring it with you. Also, if you are not feeling well, please remember you can join us on the livestream and worship from home. My thanks to each of you for the ways you are caring for the health of your neighbors and church family during this time.
Have a great weekend,
