Dear Mt. Tam Church Family,
I hope this message finds you well and filled with the joy that comes with the start of the Advent season.
Our worship service this Sunday holds a special significance as it marks the first Sunday of Advent, a time of preparation and expectation as we eagerly await the celebration of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
To enhance our worship experience this week, we are blessed to have a
special soloist and a group of talented bell ringers joining us. Their
performances will uplift our spirits and add a beautiful dimension to our time of worship.
The theme for this Sunday’s service revolves around a question that resonates deeply within each of us: “What is it that we are waiting for?” The first reading for this first Sunday of Advent reminds us that our longing is not merely a historical remembrance but a desire for a new reality, a new encounter with the divine.
I invite each of you to join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we come together in prayer, song, and fellowship. Let us open our hearts to the
message of Advent, embracing the hope that this season brings and
rekindling the anticipation of the Savior’s arrival.
In Peace and Hope,
Pastor Luke
