Dear Friends,
Some say good things (and other say bad things) come in threes. Well, this Sunday I am happy to report that we will be celebrating three VERY GOOD things in worship!
First off, we will be acknowledging and celebrating our Sunday school helpers and teachers who have been committed to providing excellent spiritual education for our young people throughout the school year. Second, we will be celebrating a special rite of passage at Mt. Tam Church: Presenting our 3rd (almost 4th) graders with their own Bible. Last but not least, we will be celebrating our high school graduates!
If you can’t make it to worship on Sunday morning, please also remember that we will gathering together for a church family BBQ and campfire on Saturday (June 4th) evening from 5-8pm. In addition to hot dogs, s’mores, games and campfire stories, our evening will also feature the debut of our new SNOW CONE MACHINE! It promises to be a fun and delicious way to kick off summer!
Finally, I would like remind everyone we will be having our church campus workday on Saturday June 11th from 9am-1pm. Folks of all ages and skill-levels are invited to come and help us make our campus buildings and grounds as welcoming as possible to our community. We are still $1500 short of our fundraising goal for this project, so if you cannot attend the workday in person, the Board of Trustees are inviting you to make a financial gift to this effort in order to cover the cost of supplies. Every gift counts and is meaningful no matter how big or how small!
I give thanks for all that is taking place in our community of faith and hope to see you at church soon!
In Peace and Hope,
Luke
