Dear Friends,
This Sunday kicks off Holy Week: The seven days leading up to Easter. It is my joy and privilege to let you know that we will start this time with a Palm Sunday worship service featuring the gifts and talents of some of our youth.
It promises to be a Sunday celebration that you won’t want to miss! As many of you long-time members know, Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday are times when we welcome many new visitors to our worship celebration.
In addition to newcomers, I am hoping that these services will also bring back some of the familiar faces that we haven’t seen since the start of the pandemic. As we prepare to welcome new visitors and old friends, I would invite you to consider signing up for one of our usher or fellowship-host slots. You can do so through the sign-up genius links that is found in the announcement section below.
Even if you cannot sign up for an ushering or fellowship slot, there is still something that you can do…. PRAY! I invite you to pray that those who visit our church for the first time will recognize the love God has for them and that we have for them.
I invite you to pray that those who are returning after
a long absence may feel welcomed back with open arms and smiling faces.
I invite you to pray that we might all fully recognize and appreciate the grace we have through our savior, Jesus the Christ. In addition to Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, we will also have an in-person Maundy Thursday service and an online Good Friday experience.
You can find out more info about those services in the announcement section below.
Wishing you a happy and healthy weekend and I hope to see you soon!
In Peace
Luke
